Pixel HelL
This game functions very similarly to both a Souls-Like and an arcade game. The priority for the game when it was being designed was to focus on creating a combat system and game mechanics that were both easy to learn and had a unique complexity to them. This was accomplished in the form of the combination of the attacks and the dash mechanic. By attacking when dashing, the projectile can be launched significantly further, and even diagonally. These mechanics were very simple to create and implement which allowed more time to design levels and different enemies.
Some plans for the future of this game include fixing some colliders and making much improved scripts for bosses, minibosses, and enemies. As of right now there is a VERY low level ai that manages the movement of the enemies, the plan is to redesign the movement system to allow for enemies that only activate within a certain distance of the player, and are also capable of moving around obstacles that might be in their way.
