These images, from my book far side, are both representations of the unknown. The photo on the left, Surfaces, was taken in a way that recreated the effects of the photography that might be found on early Apollo missions. By incorporating motion into a grainy image I believe that I captured the effect well. The photo on the right, Eclipse, is of a lunar eclipse. This photo is in my mind a perfect embodiment of the idea behind my book, I think it does a good job illustrating the eeriness and unusual nature of the world and the unknown aspects of it.
